Robert E. Bristow, MD

    Dr. Robert E. Bristow is a professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and the director, Kelly Gynecologic Oncology Service and director of Johns Hopkins Ovarian Cancer Center of Excellence.

    Dr. Bristow received his medical degree from the University of Southern California. He completed his residency in gynecology and obstetrics at the Johns Hopkins Hospital and his fellowship subspecialty training in gynecologic oncology at the University Of California Los Angeles School Of Medicine - Cedars Sinai Medical Center. He returned to the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine as a full-time faculty member in 1998.

    Dr. Bristow's primary research interests include radiographic imaging of gynecologic cancers, the surgical management of cancers of the ovary and endometrium, the patterns of health care delivery for women with gynecologic cancer.  Dr. Bristow is extensively published in the area of gynecologic oncology.
