Dr. Prathima Setty is a board certified obstetrician and gynecologist and a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She earned her Bachelor of Arts and Science degree at Stanford University and her medical degree at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. After finishing an internship in Internal medicine at Rush-Presbyterian in Chicago, she completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago Medical Center. She was also previously the Women's Health Scholar at Columbia's Center for Menopause, Hormonal Disorders, and Women's Health in New York City.

In addition to working in private practice, she also serves on the medical advisory board for BabyCenter and has also been quoted in various print and online magazines on obstetrics and gynecology issues. Apart from medicine, she currently serves as the Co-Chair for Stanford Alumni Women's Impact Network.
