Dr. Peter Winn is professor in the department of family medicine, and an adjunct professor in the department of geriatric medicine, at Oklahoma University School of Medicine in Oklahoma City. He is the medical director of the nursing facility at Fountains at Canterbury Continuing Care Retirement Community, and is also medical director of Mercy at Home Hospice, both in Oklahoma City. He is board certified in family medicine in both the US and Canada and hold certificates of added qualifications in geriatrics and hospice and palliative medicine, through the American Board of Family Medicine.
Dr. Winn received his MD from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, and went on to complete a residency in family medicine at the University of Toronto.
Dr. Winn is a national board member of the American Medical Directors Association (AMDA), 2009-2012.
