Dr. Michele G. Curtis is Associate Professor of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. She is actively involved in women's health care at the clinical level and helps to develop women's health policy at the national level as well.

She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, as well as a member of several other professional societies.

Dr. Curtis currently serves in the following capacities:

-Board member, Scientific Counselors (BSC), CDC Coordinating Center for Health Promotion (CCHP)
-ACOG Representative to Board of Directors of SIDS and Infant Mortality Programs
-Member, Council on Health Service Organizations, Texas Medical Association
-Member, CDC National Center on Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities Preconception Care Select Panel
