Michael Gordon, M.D. performed the first all laser High – Definition Wavefront-guided laser procedure in the world in 2003. He is recognized as an authority in the field of refractive surgery. In 1989 Dr. Gordon was the first surgeon in the United States to use the Summit excimer laser to correct nearsightedness. He has lectured and taught excimer laser techniques all over the world. Dr. Gordon is the only surgeon to have been involved in all phases of the clinical investigation of the Summit laser in the United States, prior to and up to approval.
