Maarouf Hoteit, MD
    Maarouf Hoteit, MD is the director of the multidisciplinary liver tumor clinic at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and the program director of the transplant hepatology fellowship and Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine. Dr. Hoteit received his medical degree from the American University of Beirut. He completed both a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in digestive diseases at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA followed by a fellowship in transplant hepatology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Dr Hoteit is board certified in internal medicine, gastroenterology and hepatology. Dr Hoteit’s clinical expertise includes transplant hepatology with an emphasis on hepatocellular cancer and transplantation. He sees patients at the Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine. His research has focused on liver cancer surveillance, diagnosis and treatment.
