Linda Raynes Mahony is a transplant dietician at University of California San Diego Center for Transplantation in San Diego, California. Previously she was lead clinical dietitian at Scripps Mercy Hospital, also in San Diego.

Ms. Raynes Mahony completed her education at University of Massachusetts in Amherst and Framingham State College in Framingham, Massachusetts. In addition to being a certified diabetes educator, she is also certified in weight management for adults by the American Dietetic Association

She is a member of the American Diabetes Association, the American Association of Diabetes Educators, National Kidney Foundation, CRN, and the American Diatetic Association, where she is  a member of the Renal Practice Group and the Diabetes Care and Education Practice Group.
