Dr. Lily Jung is medical director of the Neurology Clinic and chief of neurology at Swedish Medical Center in Seattle. She sits on the American Academy of Neurology's Government Relations Committee, and was formerly the vice chair of the Legislative Affairs Committee and editor of the advocacy page of the Academy's webpage. She also sits on the executive committee of the Academy's Brain PAC. She is one of two physicians on the Federal Activism Council of the National MS Society (NMSS), and helped develop the NMSS's Principles of Health Care Reform.

In 2005, she was inducted into the NMSS National Volunteer Hall of Fame for her work advocating on behalf of MS patients. She was also a member of the first AAN Donald M. Palatucci Leadership Forum in 2003 and remains a mentor and advisor forum. She is a clinical associate professor of neurology at the University of Washington. She has served as a member of the advisory boards for the FDA Peripheral and Central Nervous System Committee and the FDA National Center for Toxicologic Research. She is one of the founders of the Washington State Neurological Society.
