Dr. Larry Deeb is in private practice as a pediatric endocrinologist in Tallahassee, Florida, and is a professor of medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine. He is past president of the American Diabetes Association, Medicine & Science. Dr. Deeb's research interests include diabetes and growth disorders, and has published numerous papers in both areas. In addition, Dr. Deeb serves as a consultant to the International Diabetes Federation and the Florida Department of Health.
