Ken Hekman established The Hekman Group in 1990 to help physicians and medical group managers discern their business opportunities and develop sustainable strategies through technical analysis, honest reflection and consensus building. Mr. Hekman has more than 30 years of healthcare leadership experience, and has personally served over 400 medical practices.

Mr. Hekman is the author of five books on medical management. Since 1999, he has also served as a volunteer consultant and mentor to healthcare organizations in developing countries on five continents since 1999. Mr. Hekman holds an MBA in marketing and business strategy and is a fellow of the American College of Medical Practice Executives.
