Dr. Karen Leible is an internist with a CAQ in geriatrics. During her geriatric fellowship she concentrated on long term care and palliative care medicine. She has spent time practicing academic medicine at Emory University and has been in private practice in Colorado and Florida.
Currently, she is the chief clinical officer for Pinon Management, a long term care management and consulting firm in Lakewood, Colorado, which specializes in turning around troubled homes and promoting culture change in long term care locally and nationally.
Dr. Leible is on the board of directors for AMDA, has served on their public policy and education committees. In Colorado, she is active with the state chapter of AMDA and was recently appointed by Governor Bill Ritter to the Commission on Aging for the state of Colorado.
