Justin Barnes is Vice President of Marketing and Government Affairs for Greenway Medical Technologies, Inc, a leading provider of integrated electronic health record (EHR) and practice management software solutions for physicians' practices. Mr. Barnes joined Greenway Medical Technologies in June of 2003. With a background in healthcare information technology sales, corporate operations and legislative policy, Barnes is responsible for building and executing Greenway’s corporate strategy and government relations. Barnes has been in the electronic health record industry for over a decade and resides on several industry governance boards. He brings the essential continuum of experience from Silicon Valley Start-up’s to Industry-leading Fortune 20 conglomerates. Prior to Greenway Medical Technologies, Barnes was a member of the founding team and Vice President of Sales Operations at Healinx Corporation. Barnes also spent several years with HBO & Company that subsequently merged with McKesson in 1999.
