Dr. Jun Ye is an adjunct professor in the physics department at the University of Colorado at Boulder, and is a group leader within JILA, one of the nation's leading scientific institutes. Dr. Ye is also a fellow of JILA, as well as the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
Dr. Ye received his undergraduate degree in applied physics at Jiao Tong University in Shanghai, China, and his doctorate degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Dr. Ye is also a guest professor at Jiao Tong and East China Normal Universities, both of which are in Shanghai, China. Dr. Ye's research focus is ultracold strontium atoms, cold molecules, and the science behind ultrafast lasers.
