Dr. Adams John is a senior statistician at RAND Health in the Statistical Research and Consulting Group, which is a nonprofit with a mission to help improve policymaking though research and analysis. Dr. Adams' current work focuses on improved quantitative methods in quality assessment, study design, and evaluation methodology with an interest in statistical methods for profiling managed care organizations, provider groups, and individual providers. He is a fellow of the American Statistical Association and former head of RAND's Statistical Consulting Service. Dr. Adams holds a PhD in statistics from the University of Minnesota.
