Jerry Morris
Jerry Morris
    Jerry Morris, BA, NREMT-P, grew up in Illinois and joined the US Army immediately after graduating high school. Mr. Morris spent 14 years on active duty in military intelligence and on an operational detachment in 7th Special Forces Group stationed at Ft Bragg, NC. Following this, he left the military in 1989 and opened a consulting firm and worked in South and Central America, Eastern Europe, and Africa. In 1995, Mr. Morris went full-time into pre-hospital medicine and became a civilian instructor at the Joint Special Operations Medical Training Center on Ft Bragg. He became part of the military modernization project in the United Arab Emirates in 2000 and stayed in the Middle East where he was a senior trainer at the military medical training center and director of the military EMS system. After returning to the US in July of 2003, Mr. Morris became the Clinical Manager for Rural Metro Ambulance in Fulton and Forsythe Counties, Georgia. In August of 2004, he joined the Carolinas Medical center for the express purpose of becoming the Operations Manager of the only hospital of it's kind, Carolinas Med-1. Currently, Mr. Morris serves in this same position and has a clinical faculty position at Carolinas Medical Center, Center for Pre-Hospital Medicine, in Charlotte, NC.
