Dr. James Stolzenbach is responsible for the overall development of projects in the areas of dyslipidemia and renal drug development at Abbott Laboratories. Prior to joining Abbott in 2004, he spent two decades in various research and product development roles at the former G.D. Searle pharmaceuticals, Monsanto and Pharmacia. He has published more than a dozen articles in journals, including the Journal of the American Medical Association and Inflammation andhe is active in numerous professional organizations. He received his undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Connecticut, a masters in biology from the University of Georgia, and a PhD in pharmacology from the Oregon State University School of Pharmacy.
