Dr. Gregory Zydiak is board certified in internal medicine and geriatric medicine. He has been in private practice for over 23 years, the last 17 of which have been in geriatric medicine and long-term care. Dr. Zydiak is a certified medical director and serves as medical director for a St. Louis skilled nursing facility, the Cedars at the JCA. He also works as medical director for the St. Louis branch of Odyssey Healthcare, a national hospice company, and sits on the advisory board for Pyramid Home Health, a regional home health company.  

Dr. Zydiak received his MD from the American University of the Caribbean in Coral Gables, Florida. He completed a transitional internship and internal medicine residency at Forest Park Hospital in St. Louis.

He won honorable mention in MedicalEconomics Magazine's 2007 doctors' writing contest for his article, "10 Reasons I Only See Nursing Home Patients." The interest that article generated lead to the creation of The Long-Term Care Practice Manual: A Practical Guide to the Practice of Long-Term Care Medicine.
