Edmond A Bendaly, MD, FACP is Chairman and Liaison of the Cancer Committee at Marion
General Hospital in Marion, Indiana. Dr. Bendaly earned his medical degree from the
American University of Beirut in Lebanon. He completed an internship and residency in
Internal Medicine, followed by a fellowship in Palliative Medicine at Indiana University in
Indianapolis. He completed a fellowship in Hematology-Oncology at New York University in
New York. Dr. Bendaly is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Hospice and Palliative Medicine,
Hematology, and Medical Oncology.
Dr. Bendaly is a fellow of the American College of Physicians, a member of the American
Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine, the American Society of Clinical Oncology,
and the American Society of Hematology. He is Associate Medical Officer of Family
Hospice, a division of Family LifeCare. Dr. Bendaly has been published in various peer-reviewed
medical journals, and has presented at the American Academy of Hospice and
Palliative Medicine, and the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer.
