E. Steve Roach, MD

    Dr. E. Steve Roach is a professor of pediatrics and neurology at the Ohio State University College of Medicine, and chief of the division of child neurology at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, where he is also vice chair for clinical affairs in the department of pediatrics.

    A fellow of the American Academy of Neurology, Dr. Roach serves as an associate editor of the Archives of Neurology, and as a member of the editorial board for several peer-reviewed journals, including Pediatric Neurology. His primary research interests focus on stroke in young people, genetic neurological disorders, especially tuberous sclerosis, and dominantly-inherited paroxysmal dystonias, with several research projects in progress. He has published more than 100 peer-reviewed articles, book chapters, and evidence-based practice guidelines.

    Dr. Roach received his medical degree from the University of Tennessee Center for Health Sciences in Memphis, and completed his pediatrics internship and residency, along with his neurology residency, at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine.
