Don Iverson, MD

    Dr. Donald J. Iverson is the lead author of the American Academy of Neurology guidelines on driving and dementia. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of California at Riverside and received his doctorate in medicine from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) at the age of 23. He completed his medical residency at the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute and received board certifications in neurology and clinical neurophysiology. A fellow of the American Academy of Neurology and of the Royal Society of Medicine, Dr. Iverson has been a full-time general neurologist in semirural private practice since 1989 and has published both as a member of various American Academy of Neurology committees and, while in private practice, as an independent researcher.
