Dr. David J. Wilber is director of the Cardiovascular Institute and the George M. Eisenberg Professor of Cardiovascular Sciences at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine. He is also the division director of cardiology and the medical director of clinical electrophysiology at Loyola Medicine
Dr. Wilber received his MD from Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, where he also completed his residency in internal medicine. He completed a fellowship in cardiology at the University of Michigan Medical Center, and in clinical cardiac electrophysiology at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Dr. Wilber's special interests include ablation catheter applications for complex arrhythmias, ablation of atrial fibrillation, alternatives to anticoagulation for atrial fibrillation, electrophysiology, heart failure and arrhythmia.
