Darren Ball is Senior Manager of Professional Workforce Development at the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. He has worked at the Society for over 10 years. Darren received his Master of Education degree from the University of Virginia. He previously served as a public school teacher and directed an adaptive sports nonprofit organization. At the Society, Darren’s work focuses on strategies that will grow, inform and engage the MS professional workforce. He serves as the lead for the Society’s ECHO MS initiative, an innovative nationwide case-based continuing education program for neurologists and advanced practice providers. ECHO MS is part of the global movement known as Project ECHO. Darren also manages a variety of other professional education programs including the National MS Society Medical Student Clinical Mentorship and the Pediatric MS Difficult Case webinar series.
