Casey Lafferty, DO is part of our Health First team. She is board certified in family medicine in Florida and Mississippi. Before arriving at Health First, Dr. Lafferty was a primary care provider with Florida Health Care Plans in Edgewater, FL. She has also served as senior medical officer and department head at Naval Branch Clinic Health Clinic in Meridian, MS. She has worked as a part-time physician in emergency departments at EmCare Physician Services and at RUSH Medical Center in Meridian, MS. Dr. Lafferty earned her Master of Business Administration in healthcare administration from George Washington University in Washington, DC. She completed an internship and residency in family medicine at Naval Hospital Jacksonville in Jacksonville, FL. Dr. Lafferty earned her Doctor of Osteopathy from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in biology and Bachelor of Arts in chemistry with a minor in religious studies from Rosemont College in Bryn Mawr, PA. She is basic life support certified, pediatric advanced life support certified, and advanced trauma life support certified.
