Dr. Amy Ozier is a registered dietitian and certified health education specialist, and assistant professor and facilitator of the Certificate of Graduate Study for Eating Disorders and Obesity at Northern Illinois University. Dr. Ozier is the former associate program director of Good Health Makes Sense wellness company, and a researcher in the field of obesity treatment. Her research interest is obesity prevention and treatment that goes beyond the calorie balance equation and addresses coping skills and maladaptive eating behaviors, and how the Eating and Appraisal Due to Emotion and Stress (EADES) model, utilized internationally by physicians, psychologists, influences eating behavior.
