Dr. Alain Mita is co-director of the Experimental Therapeutics Program at the Samuel Oschin Comprehensive Cancer Institute. He obtained his undergraduate bachelor’s degree as well as his M.D. in Bucharest, Romania. He completed fellowship training in Medical Oncology at the Paul Sabatier University in Toulouse, France, and at The University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio and an Advanced Fellowship in Drug Development at the Institute for Drug Development at CTRC. Dr. Mita has a long-standing interest and expertise in the treatment of lung cancer, more specifically in the development of new drugs for this disease.
