The American Geriatrics Society (AGS) has partnered with Phairify to deliver new tools for AGS members. Phairify’s specialty-specific professional practice information and career management platform provides members who participate in AGS/Phairify designed-studies with insight into their value and worth backed by geriatrics-specific compensation and productivity data. AGS members will anonymously be able to compare with their peers and have access to specialty-specific data that will help them to define their own career paths. Participating members who are negotiating a contract will be able to compare compensation levels that are aligned with the criteria personalized to them such as type of practice, years in practice, and geographic area. The experience is designed to be data driven, personalized, and discrete. 

AGS’s collaboration with Phairify adds this new information and analysis asset to a package of benefits that supports its members with career development resources such as community-building and networking opportunities, awards programs and fellowships, and leadership training. “We are working with Phairify to customize a benchmarking study that is aligned with the modern-day practice of geriatrics,” Dr. Mark Supiano, AGS Treasurer, who is leading the workgroup, said.  “We look forward to our launch later this fall and generating data that will support AGS members as they make decisions about their careers.”
