The IBD Masterclass:
The Community GI Playbook for Crohn's & UC
Turning today's data into tomorrow's remission – one module at a time
Developed in collaboration with the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation, Global Learning Collaborative (GLC), and expert faculty, the IBD Masterclass is a practical, module-based learning series built for community clinicians managing Crohn's disease and Ulcerative Colitis (UC) every day.
Work through evidence-based strategies across the full continuum of IBD care — learning to apply objective assessment, patient-reported outcomes, and treat-to-target principles to make smarter therapy decisions and move your patients toward remission.
Supported by educational grants from AbbVie, Inc., Genentech Inc., Johnson & Johnson, and Takeda Pharmaceuticals U.S.A., Inc.

The IBD Masterclass Certificate Program
Advance Your IBD Practice. Earn Recognition for Your Expertise.
Managing Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis is complex — and the landscape keeps evolving. IBD Masterclass gives community clinicians a structured, expert-guided path to master what matters most in real-world IBD care.
Work through a curriculum built around the clinical decisions you face every day:
- Diagnosis and risk stratification
- Treat-to-target strategies
- Objective assessment and monitoring
- Therapy selection and optimization
- Extraintestinal manifestations and multidisciplinary care
Begin with IBD Essentials, a set of modules intentionally designed as the first step — the building blocks that prepare you for deeper learning and advanced clinical application.
Upon completing the IBD Essentials, you'll earn a Certificate of Completion recognizing your understanding of the core principles.
From there, you'll advance into the IBD Advanced Mastery modules (launching later in 2026), where you'll deepen your expertise, refine clinical decision-making, and apply these foundations to more complex, real-world scenarios.
By the end of the full Masterclass journey, you'll have the confidence to apply evidence-based pathways, integrate objective measures and patient-reported outcomes, and pursue treat-to-target goals with clarity and precision.
IBD Masterclass Certificate of Excellence
Completion of both the Foundational Courses and Advanced Mastery Courses culminates in the IBD Masterclass Certificate of Excellence, awarded by the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation. This distinction reflects not only your commitment to advancing your practice, but also the rigor and credibility of a program backed by the leading authority in IBD care — signaling to peers, patients, and institutions your expertise in delivering high-quality, evidence-based IBD management.
Mastery doesn't happen all at once — it's built on a strong foundation. And it starts here.
